Privacy Policy: What This Website and Our Phone Line Collect

This policy explains what information is collected when you use this website, call the number on it or write to us. It is written in plain language. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].

Website data: no forms or analytics, two outside services

The website has no forms, no accounts and no comment boxes, so it does not ask you to type anything in. We have not installed analytics or advertising scripts on it.

Your browser does contact two outside services when you load some pages. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, and a few pages (the homepage, the Contact page and the area pages) show a Google Maps frame. Google receives your IP address and browser details when those load, under Google's own privacy policy.

What a phone call or email involves

When you call, the dispatch line asks for your address, a description of the problem and a number to reach you. We use that to decide whether we can help and to route your request to a plumber serving your area.

The plumber who takes the job receives those details so they can call you and arrive prepared. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to answer you.

Give only what the job needs. We do not need payment card numbers, government ID numbers or account passwords to route a request, and you should not send them.

Who receives your details: dispatch, plumber and the law

Your details go to the dispatch line and to the plumber assigned to your request. We do not sell them. We do not hand them to advertisers.

A plumber you hire has their own records and their own privacy practices for the work you contract with them. Ask them directly how they handle yours.

We may disclose information when a law, a court order or a safety emergency requires it.

Your choices and how to reach us

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it removed, email [email protected] from the address you used. Include the date of your call so we can find it. You can also decline to give details on a call, though we may then be unable to say whether we can help.

Third-party services, including Google, keep their own records, and you manage those with them. A browser setting that blocks third-party frames will stop the maps from loading and will not affect the rest of the site.

Children's privacy, policy changes and legal limits

The site is meant for adults who own or manage a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change what the site or the line collects, we will update this page and the date at the top. This page describes our practices in general terms and is not a contract or legal advice.

Questions about this policy go to [email protected]. For plumbing questions, go to the contact page.

Asking a question about your information by email or phone

Email [email protected] and we will answer in plain terms.
